Meet Katharine Munn, D.D.S.

Dr. Katharine Munn was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. She received her undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy from The University Of Western Ontario and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie University in 1989. She completed her residency in Periodontics at the University of Washington in 1992.

Following the successful completion of her degree, Dr. Munn returned to Canada and established a private practice in Periodontics in Newfoundland. In 2000 she and her family relocated to Massachusetts. She then purchased an established Periodontial practice. She continually takes courses on the latest technological advances in Periodontics and Implantology to stay at the forefront of her field.

Dr. Munn is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, The American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Association. She is a board member of the local Dental Hygiene school committee.

Dr. Munn’s husband, Dr. Philip Cabrera, is an Endodontist and practices with her. They have 2 children. Her other interests include spending time with her family, hiking, skiing, camping and participating in Triathlons.
